MORE DETAILS: Handmade, made of suri alpaca, this specimen has very long and soft fleece, both slippers are from baby alpaca (young alpaca), fine fur , not itchy, very soft. Natural alpaca colors not dyed. Super warm and cozy for the feet.
CARE: Please don't wash this luxury item in the laundry machine. It needs to be washed with dry shampoo, that means, use a baby powder like Johnson's baby powder and shake inside and outside the fur, it will look like new and white after this procedure.
Question: A lot of customers ask me in the Fairs this frecuent question: Is the alpaca being killed in order to obtain the fur?
Answer: In the oppositte of rabbits, foxes or felines, which unfairly are sacrified a cause of its fur; the alpaca produces hair like a "sheep" and is shaved every six months in order to obtain plenty of its hair or hypoallergenic fur, the hair will re-grow in the next three to six months. So, the answer is not, the animal is not being killed in order to get the fur. Alpaca is a very expensive animal and their herders and farmers protect her in order to get from the animal the periodical income for their families
