These statement chunky bracelets or cuffs are made of "vegetable ivory" also known as Tagua or Corozo nut three. The scientific name of this palm is Phytelephas equatorialis, and also is known as the ivory-nut or elephant plant.
It is known as the ivory plant because the resemblance with the animal ivory is so close that not even an expert can tell the difference.
